Lisa Wade, Chief Community Officer at Fableration and recognized as the 2024 Female Fintech Leader of the Year, is set to lead multiple sessions at the Digital Economy Council of Australia’s (DECA) flagship event, DECA Week, held from June 16 to 18. Wade will spotlight how blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, and community engagement are reshaping the publishing industry.
At the Australian Digital Economy Conference and the SheConnects event at JW Marriott Gold Coast, Wade will urge creators, tech professionals, and readers to participate in Fableration’s upcoming global hackathon. Additionally, she invites audiences worldwide to join as judges for the World’s Richest Short Story Competition, a unique initiative that rewards both authors and readers.
“We’re not fixing publishing. We’re freeing it,” Wade stated. “Fableration embodies blockchain in its truest form—transparent, fair, and built for creators and readers alike.”
During the three-day summit, Fableration aims to empower readers by involving them directly in the literary discovery process through judging the short story competition. The event has already attracted over 3,000 writers and readers. Wade also called on developers, UX designers, and engineers to contribute to Fableration’s November Hackathon, which focuses on the ethical use of AI to uncover new writing talent and build a platform aligned with the #blockchAIn4good initiative.
